Welcome to VSTEPUP ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VSTEPUP mobile application ("App"), available on Android and iOS. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. About the App
VSTEPUP is an educational application designed for language learning purposes. The App is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce advertisements, premium features, subscription plans, or in-app purchases in the future. Any such changes will be communicated to users in advance.
2. Eligibility
VSTEPUP is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or legal guardian.
3. Account Registration
- You may sign in using your Google account via Google Sign-In.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate and current information during the sign-in process.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You shall not:
- Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the App or interfere with other users' access
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App, its servers, or connected systems
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App or any part thereof
- Use the App to distribute malware, spam, or any harmful content
- Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the App without our written consent
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without our prior written authorization
5. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, audio, video, software, and design — are the property of VSTEPUP or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, copy, or distribute any content from the App without our prior written consent.
6. User Content
If the App allows you to submit, upload, or share content (e.g., comments, feedback, or learning progress), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and process such content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the App. You retain ownership of your content and may request its deletion at any time.
7. Advertisements and Paid Features
The App is currently free and does not display advertisements. We may introduce advertisements from third parties or optional paid features (including in-app purchases or subscription plans) in the future. Any paid features will be clearly disclosed before purchase, and applicable refund policies of Google Play or Apple App Store will apply.
8. Account & Data Deletion
You have the right to request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time. To do so:
- Send an email to datmai2710@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
- Include the email address associated with your VSTEPUP account.
- Your request will be reviewed and processed within three (3) business days.
- You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted.
Upon deletion, you will lose access to all data and content associated with your account. Some information may be retained as required by law.
9. Disclaimers
- The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
- We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
- Educational content provided in the App is for informational and learning purposes only. We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or results.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, VSTEPUP and its developers, officers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or any other intangible losses.
11. Third-Party Services
The App may integrate with or contain links to third-party services (e.g., Google Sign-In, Firebase). Your use of such third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party services.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted within the App and will include an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should discontinue use of the App.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through amicable negotiation; failing which, they shall be submitted to the competent courts of Vietnam.
